Eunice (June-July overview)

This is a recap, no numbers.

I put up my first blog post a while ago complete with reps, numbers, the whole shebang. But then I guess the backend crashed and my post was never recovered. So I gave up. It took me long enough to decide to write one up only for it to disappear somewhere in cyberspace. But I was prompted to start up again.
I'm in Charlotte, NC for the summer. Not my first location of choice, but I guess I can't really complain. The apartment I'm at provides a free gym membership. The place is nice, but there's no free bar so I make do with a smith machine. Granted, it has 2 degrees of freedom so its better than it could've been, but it's definitely not the same.
Been a gym-rat as of late; go there 5-6 times a week, for approx 2 hr at a time (seriously, I've nothing better to do). I've been benching, squatting, deadlifting (I pad the bottom bars) every other day or so, alternating with cardio. Today is a lifting day; the goal is to increment. I'll put up numbers when I have them. Don't have any goals at the moment, but perhaps I'll make some once I get back to Boston.

Deirdre-- if you're still in Boston and don't mind, I'd like to meet you sometime, if even just to formally introduce myself?

  1. Good to see you lifting again. If you run into Nathan (tall white bearded guy with glasses who has recently taken to wearing bright yellow shoes to the gym), he should be able to get you into contact with Dee. She can only really train when rugby's not in season, and I can never for the life of me remember when that is.
