265x5

Ow. Damn near failed that last rep. I think. My eyes were almost closed, so I couldn't really tell how I was moving.

Military/Overhead/Whatthehelldoyoucallthis Press

Chinups
Warmup: Monkeying up to the top of the rack to set the grips.
BWx5
BWx7
BWx5

Extra set because why not. Also because I did the first set too early while I was still tired from rows, and consequently failed earlier than I was used to.

Hang Power Cleans
55xlots
88xsome
Power Cleans
55xlots
88xfew

I wasn't really counting...

Good session overall.

Chris - 1/21

Squat:
Warmup: 45x5, 115x5, 145x4, 175x3
205x5
205x5
205x5
No comment.

Bench Press:
Warmup: 45x5, 70x5, 90x4, 110x3, 130x2
150x4
150x3
145x3
145x5
Really bad today... couldn't even hit 150x5 on my first two attempts, so I had to "clean up" on 145. It is probably because proper form still isn't keyed into my mind. At least I got my 15 reps somehow.

Deadlift:
Warmup: 135x5, 185x5, 215x4, 250x3, 285x2
320x5
Pretty challenging.

Dips:
Warmup: BWx6, +12.5x3
+30x5
+30x5
No comment.

My bench sucks. Need to really work on form, but not sure how to fit in additional work.

Chris - 1/19 - SS

Squats:
Warmup: 45x5, 135x5, 155x4, 190x3, 225x2
260x5
260x5
260x5

Felt unusually easy compared to my other squat sets. I'm not complaining though!

Overhead press:
Warmup: 45x5, 65x4, 75x3, 85x2
97x5
97x5
97x5

I think those heavy metal collars weigh about a pound each. If not it's still more than 95lb which is nice.

Bent-over Rows:
Warmup: 45x5, 85x4, 105x3, 125x2
140x5
140x5
140x5

Chinups:
Warmup: staring at the grips and wondering why they're so high up
BWx7
BWx7

Power Cleans:
Warmup/practice: 55xlots

Practice makes perfect... not really willing to replace bent-over rows with power cleans until I have my technique down. I keep noticing things I do wrong every time (my elbows don't come high enough and fail to "whip" around the bar consistently, I start the second pull funny and pull myself forward/backward, arms do more than just hold the bar, other miscellaneous errors I'm sure I'm forgetting). Stopped after I nearly blacked out... guess the squats got to me.

Pretty good session overall though. (I think I respond better to warmups with lower increments.)
