So, Ryan pointed me to this site, which I actually remember from before because I apparently managed to find my way on to it, despite not being an MIT student.

I find this awesome and hilarious. Way to go =).

Frank (3/18): Starting Strength, Light
So, I was feeling really sleepy when I got home from work and decided that if I didn't go to the Z right away, I was going to fall asleep. I arrive there about an hour earlier than usual and run into JC along with a really strong guy that I've never seen before. The guy's name is Mike Nackoul, an Olympic lifter who lifts 131/171 (that's ~289lbs/377lbs), and he's only 18! Beastly. I also just learned (through Google) that he's the school-aged (meaning, I guess, high school) national champion. With those lifts, I'm not terribly surprised.
So my original plan of a quick workout went out the window as I practiced some snatch high pulls and generally bummed around, at least in the beginning of the workout.
Some snatch high pulls
1 successful snatch (70kg, embarrassing! I can barely do overhead squats anymore either. Gah.)
Back Squat
5x45, 5x95, 5x135, 5x185, 5x225
5x275 @ 8
5x275 @ 8
Military Press
5x45, 5x95
5x155 @ 8
5x155 @ 8
5x155 @ 8
Pullup
5x55 @ 8
5x55 @ 8
5x55 @ 8
Ab Pulldown: 3x16 @ 190
Bicep Curl: 2x10 @ 40

Hitler is Pissed about Powerlifting
This video has been making the rounds around a lot of powerlifting sites.
And yeah, I know I'm being a hypocrite, sorry Aaron. But hey, at least it's short! =)

Dee is awesome
So it turns out that Dee earned herself some pretty awesome rankings according to powerliftingwatch.com. She is #17 in the total:
17. Deirdra Connolly IPA 2009-08-22 600
And #15 in the deadlift:
15. Deirdra Connolly IPA 2009-08-22 275
Good job Dee! Of course, they fucked up the spelling. And she would have been even better if she had bothered herself to make 123!
