Frank (3/18): Starting Strength, Light

So, I was feeling really sleepy when I got home from work and decided that if I didn't go to the Z right away, I was going to fall asleep. I arrive there about an hour earlier than usual and run into JC along with a really strong guy that I've never seen before. The guy's name is Mike Nackoul, an Olympic lifter who lifts 131/171 (that's ~289lbs/377lbs), and he's only 18! Beastly. I also just learned (through Google) that he's the school-aged (meaning, I guess, high school) national champion. With those lifts, I'm not terribly surprised.

So my original plan of a quick workout went out the window as I practiced some snatch high pulls and generally bummed around, at least in the beginning of the workout.

Some snatch high pulls
