Frank (4/30): Openers

Weighed in at 181 today in the middle of the day after eating a bunch, so I'm safely in the 181 class for this meet.

Back Squat

5x45, 5x135, 5x185, 5x225, 3x275, 3x315, 1x365, 1x405

Some nasty good-morninging on the third rep, but it was a strong good morning instead of a spleen-shooting-out-of-my-ass good morning, so I was relatively happy. Attempts will be 192.5, 205, and 210/212.5.

Bench Press

I was expecting to be able to triple this, but maybe I was fatigued from squats or the super-volume thing I've been doing. Regardless, I was still able to do these even though my form was abysmal, so I'm still going to open at this weight. Attempts will be 130, 135, 137.5/140.

I was going for a triple at first just to see if I could, but the 545 was feeling pretty damned hard already, so I knew it was unlikely. The failure to get the second single was a bit of a surprise, though. Still, I opened at 250 last time, and I do think I'm stronger than before, so I'm bumping all my attempts up by 5kg. Attempts will be 255, 270, 285.
