  2. It looks like everything is going up nicely except for you squat. Hmm...

  3. I would beg to differ, last cycle was 335x5 in the 5/3/1 week and he certainly looked like he left at least 1 or 2 reps in the tank. Assuming that's the case that would put him right on par with where he was before he took a break from lifting (i.e. around a 405 single). Also if I remember correctly his 405 single was a powerlifting squat, just below parallel, these are ATG. It all counts the same, but it's something to take note of.

  4. I meant he left 1 or 2 reps in the tank this time @ 340.

  5. I'm not being negative. I just think it's worth pointing out, especially since Chris is pretty consistent, which makes these results mean more.

WRT to gains, I'm comparing his current results to his maxes pre-5/3/1. It seems like his bench, press, and deadlift are smoking his old maxes (using approximations for all except deadlift, since he hasn't tested maxes recently), but his squat is about the same.

Also, though he's going deep (definitely an inch or two below parallel) it's not ATG. He's not really going any deeper than he went before, as far as I can tell. Chris himself is the best judge of that, though.

In any case, good job, Chris, and keep up the good work :). You're still making good gains.
