Speed Squat
5x45, 5x135, 5x185, 5x225
2x2x275 @ 7
I split the seat of the long black Nike sweats that I always wear. Rather than subject the innocent members of the Z to the glory of my ample buttocks, I decided to go home and change into my stretchy shorts.
5x45, 5x135, 5x185, 5x225
6x2x275 @ 7
2x315, 2x365
2x410 @ 9
I think I tweaked my left glute a little on the heavy set (or maybe it was just a cramp). Fortunately, glutes are easy to ice. All I have to do is sit on an ice pack.
Deadlift
5x135, 5x225, 5x315, 3x365, 3x405, 1x455
5x500 @ 8
5x500 @ 9
5x500 @ 9
5x500 @ 9/10
4x500 @ F
Gah. I guess I overestimated myself a little bit. The first three sets were really easy. The fourth set was toughish. I got the last rep up to right above my knee before my body rebelled and made me drop the weight.
Back Squat: 8@295, 3x8 @ 275
I was a little too wiped from deadlifts, but these were not hard.
Ab Pulldown: 3x15 @ 190

My shorts ripped one day while on RSP- I kept on with the workout lol
ReplyDeleteOnly my boxers split when I do squats... I continued my workout both times it happened. Maybe I squat so much because they act as half a squat suit in the bottom of the lift?
ReplyDelete2 words: Compression shorts.
ReplyDelete@JC/Chris: Nuts. And I was feeling all special. I have split a few pairs of underpants, though, but in those cases, I just keep going.
ReplyDelete@Shanker: But then, are you really RRRRAAAAAAWWWWW?
Hey Frank, are you dinosaur? Is that why you're so strong? RRRRRAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWRRRRRRR!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, its true. The compression shorts give me about 2 grams of pop out of the hole. They also minimize the shifting of certain other parts, which I think is the main selling point.
ReplyDeleteI remember the Nike sweats. May they rest in peace.
ReplyDelete^^^lol.
