How the heck does one leave a comment?

Its kinda retarded but I keep trying to leave comments on different posts but apparently its not working for me...
Ideas anyone?

    Click on post title. There should be a "Post a Comment" box at the bottom. Write comment. In "Comment as," choose the account you used (probably your Google account). Click the "Post a Comment" button.
