JC (1/12)- Squat/Deadlift/Military press

First time squatting/deadlifting in about 2 months. Ouch.

Squat-
built up to 255x5.
Felt really heavy. I'll go into the fetal position now...

Deadlift-
built up to 275x5
Same as above.

I plan on doing some linear progression, 5 lbs per workout for the next several weeks, for squat/deadlift.

Leg press-
built up to 5 platesx10reps, then pyramided(?) down.

Military press-
165x5
160x5
155x5
150x5
145x5

military press (assistance)-
135- 2x10
125x8
115x9

Biceps biceps biceps- about 70 reps total

Abs
Cardio

I guess I have to condition my CNS to handle heavy loads. Ankle didn't really give me a problem, so thats good. Anyways, I'm going to suck this upcoming meet...

  1. I would start a little lighter. Your workouts aren't going to get any easier. Also, if you want to do a simple linear progression, and if you anticipate training with me when you get back, you might just want to adopt the linear progression I'm doing right now. I've done multiple weeks so the layout should be pretty obvious, but let me know if you have any questions.
