Chris - 12/15, 12/19

Finals suck.

12/15: 5/3/1, Wave C, Squat/Bench

Squat (belted):
45x5; 95x5; 140x5; 175x5; 210x3
265x5
300x3
335x5
I came in distracted because I'd bombed a final, so I got squirrelly under the bar and lost tension around rep 3 or 4. Ugh.

Bench Press:
45x5; 65x5; 85x5; 100x3
125x5
140x3
160x10
OKAY SURE

Squat (assistance, unbelted):
265x5; 245x5; 225x5; 205x5; 185x5

Bench Press (assistance):
135x6; 135x6; 135x6; 135x6

Dips (unweighted):
15; 15; 12; 12

12/19: 5/3/1, Wave C, Military Press/Deadlift

Done at the YMCA.

Military Press:
45x5; 50x5; 60x5; 70x3
90x5
100x3
115x7
:|

Deadlift (belted):
140x5; 180x5; 215x3
265x5 I started getting very weird looks from everyone around here.
300x3
340x1 I stopped here... just kidding! I didn't particularly feel like repping 340.
380x1
415x1
455x1
(50lb PR)
Lost a callus to 455. Shanker how do you do this weight for REPS?

Deadlift (assistance, unbelted):
315x5; 285x5; 275x5; 255x5; 235x5
Lost another callus to the 315x5. Sigh.

Military Press (assistance):
100x5; 90x6; 85x7; 80x8; 75x9

Bench Press (assistance):
135x6; 135x6; 135x6; 135x6
I kept sliding around on the benches and it sucked :(

  1. Is it just me, or weren't you struggling to BP 160x5 just a couple months ago?

  2. Super strong work! A 50lb PR is no joke. I was already at the Z when I first pulled 455, which was about two years ago now, I think. I am quite jealous of all the progress you young'uns are making. The 160x10 is also a huge step up. I think two plates is right around the corner.

  3. Nice job man. As far as the sliding on the bench goes, a little chalk goes a long way.
