08/16 Shanker 5 SM Lower 1

Back still not entire 100% after last week's little twitching episode (the reason for my week long hiatus, didn't real feel like talking about it). But my PT told me to go ahead and "be smart."

Feel pretty good right about now, apart from the fact that I am exhausted and know I won't be able to move come tomorrow morning....more a result of not lifting for 2 weeks than my back.

decided to go "light" at 425, which was a smart decision. Pulled slow with excellent form the entire time, took ample rest (5-10 min) and rolled between sets. Approaching respectability again...

Also...if anyone can find the asshole who took my PVC pipe that had my name clearly written on it (I left it in the Z out of the kindness of my heart, the thing is infinitely better than any damn foam roller) tell me...punishment TBD.
Thankfully PVC is cheap so I have 3 more, but its the principle...

  1. Bummer that it got stolen. It was still there when I left on Sunday. I wouldn't leave stuff lying around the gym floor, though. For all I know, the cleaning crew picked it up...

  3. @Frank I refer you to the phrase "out of the kindness of my heart." i.e. I WANTED other people to be able to use it. So I left it, with the permission of the desk attendant, with the foam rollers.

    @Aaron Yes, no one's seen it. I have more at home, but I'll be damned if I bring any in again.
