Long story short, due to elbow problem I decided to safety bar squat a bit, but that didnt go so well, so worked up with normal style until I couldn't bear the pain anymore. Nevertheless, didn't accomplish anything particularly worthwhile, but did hit a reasonable amount of weight for volume (about 6 working sets). So there it is...

Elbow Update:
Have an appointment on July 29th to get it checked out. This coincides quite well my deload week. At this point I'm pretty sure I have a form of RTS, radial tunnel syndrome. The best and quickest cure for this is surgery which is a relatively quick outpatient procedure with rehab time of roughly 2 weeks or so. So let's see...again this is all speculative, but if I had to make a bet...

  1. If you're pretty sure it's radial tunnel syndrome, there is no point in seeing a doctor; just schedule the surgery :)

  2. based on my expert medical opinion, I probably would've scheduled spine replacement last summer as well.
