I ran to the gym without pausing, except for the occasional stoplight. I definitely made it in less than 15 minutes, probably more like 12.
Back Squat: 2x5@310, 5@305, 2x5@300
This was a disaster. At this point, I didn't know whether this was due to detraining from a whole week off or because of running. The second set of 5@310 was a 10 by RTS RPE standards, so I dropped the weight. By the last few sets, I felt like I was certainly high and definitely rounding my back. No good.
Bench Press: 5x5@240
These felt OK except for the lack of any real leg drive. Being able to do these convinced me that my weakness was due to running, not detraining. From now on, I'm walking to the gym and running back to save time.
Barbell Row: 5x5@225
Felt fine, with some cheating.
