I felt pretty bad going into the gym today. It's possible that I'm getting a little sick, but I think it's probably just leftover fatigue from last Saturday. The last time I did my real maxes, it took me about a week and a half before I was fully recovered.
Power Clean: 2X60, 70, 80, 5x2@90
This was the first time in ages that I had to psyche myself up for a 90kg clean. This was also when I knew that this workout was not going to be great.
Front Squat: 2x4@225
ATG Low-Bar Squat: 2x4@225
Back Squat: 2x4@225
For some reason, the ATG squats were easier than the powerlifting-style back squats. It may be because I'm benefitting from rebounding off of my calves and hamstrings at the bottom, which allows me to push right through my sticking point. I'm pretty sure my ATG squat max is lower than my PL squat max, though. This warrants a little more thought.
