Last day of Sheiko cycle. Weight is 170 -- yay going back up! Feeling a LOT better. Sickness finally gone.

Because I missed my heavy squat day due to sickness, I thought I would edit my Sheiko plan for today (supposed to be 6 sets of 3 @ 280) to 4 sets at 280 and then the heavy sets from Monday (doubles at 295). This was probably not a smart idea after so many 280 sets, and after doing powercleans, incline, and some other arm/shoulder workouts yesterday. Felt good to get 295 on my shoulders again though. Live and learn :)

Now that this cycle is over, it's time to consider what comes next. Looking ahead to the May meet, it looks like I won't be able to do it since I'll be in Germany for work. I'm considering doing a max day this weekend-ish, as I haven't maxed in a while and I'm interested in testing. I'm also considering going back to a higher intensity version of Sheiko for one cycle. I made good progress on this a few cycles ago, and I think I've had enough "rest" to run it again. Testing prior to starting the higher intensity cycle will allow me to calibrate my maxes, since this is more important when many of the sets are at 85%.
