BUILDING UP CONFIDENCE. Though I notice that I tend to forget one or more of the following as I ramp up the weights:
-Tucking elbows. I was almost doing inverted pushups at one point. Now I see where the "pulling the bar apart" advice comes from.
-Keeping feet planted/Using leg drive. I think I understand this aspect of the lift now, or at least better than I did a month or two ago.
-Controlled movement of bar, especially near the bottom. The bar definitely smacked my chest at one point.
The Z Center closed as I did my last set of bench, so I relocated.
Deadlift:
Warmup: 135x5, 185x5, 230x4, 270x2, 310x1
350x5
Not as bad as I thought it would be, but still fairly difficult. I warm up with 3 plates next time!
Dips:
Warmup: BWx4,+25x3
+45x6; +45x5

I seem to have broken my deadlift plateau, at least.
