Plyos and cardio w/ wrestling team, then wrestling for 2 hours.
I had lift with some pretty shitty equipment in a cold weight room -- my old high school is really poor and it gets worse every time I go back. The bars were just full of rust (my hands were completely orange when I finished). The bench was shaky and looked like half of it had been chopped off so I had to set up really far down; it made lifting the bar off next to impossible. In any case, life goes on.
Bench

Squat

Did the "not doing jack shit" variety for this squat day. I can't wait to get back to the Z. Lifting in other gyms is really challenging, especially when the equipment sucks and the building doesn't have any heat.
Going to run some hill sprints today.

Hm, 29s is pretty decent for a non-runner, I think. I'm surprised that you kept getting faster.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to do 200s as part of speed/cardio work for ultimate. Going to do 2-3x per week, startin with sets of 4. Goal is first one under 35, then negative split the rest (always get faster). Assuming I can keep negative splitting (or staying about the same) then the next week I'll add 1.
