Just a light day to prep for the meet. Everything felt pretty good except some of the lighter squats, where I almost fell on my butt. My back feels OK. At the very least, I'll be able to break a four-digit total come Saturday.

Frank, I think that in a perfect day, without the back injury, etc, you can total 1200. My reasoning: 385 + 300 + 515. Maybe not this competition, but definitely in the near future.
ReplyDeleteI agree, that 1200 is completely within your grasp. But I think you were just kidding about 4-digit total? What are you realistically shooting for?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think I'll only consider a 4-digit total good if I somehow manage to injure myself again sometime between now and Saturday. I think my attempts are going to be 345-365-385/275-290-300/475-505-515, or thereabouts. My third attempt may be higher or lower depending on how my second one feels.
