Frank (2/14): Still Deloading

Back Squat
5x45, 5x135, 5x185, 5x225, 5x275, 5x315

Deadlift
5x135, 5x225, 5x315, 5x365, 5x405

Leg Press: 8 @ 3 plates, 2x8 @ 4 plates
I'm looking for a squat assistance exercise that doesn't put much pressure on the lower back since my lower back tends to get fried after a few weeks of serious training. Any suggestions?
Ab Rollout: 6

  1. Wendler would recommend the leg curl or leg press if you want stronger legs... being very anti-machine still I'd go front squats, but that's juuuust me.

  2. Bulgarian split squats/lunges. I second Chris' idea of front squats too.

  3. Thanks guys. I actually got some good advice from the same question on another forum:

Basically, along with the unilateral work, I got some advice about how to modulate intensity better so that I could still practice the movement as well as suggestions about assistance and recovery work. hulk242 and StaffJ are both world-class lifters. The others...I'm not so sure.
