Back Squat
5x45, 5x95, 5x135, 5x185, 5x225, 3x275, 3x315, 1x365
3x405 @ 9
Easier than I expected. I think I might have ridden the last one a little bit high. The first two were almost definitely fine (I basically Oly-squatted the first...oops).
Bench Press
5x45, 5x95, 5x135, 3x185, 3x225
3x275 @ 10
First rep paused. The last one was a real grinder.
Deadlift
5x135, 5x225, 5x315, 3x365, 3x405, 1x455, 1x495
3x545 @ 9/10
Felt fine.
So it looks like these are my openers. At the meet, I'm probably going to go for:
Squat: 405, 425, 445
Bench: 275, 290, 305
Deadlift: 545, 580, 615
I'm aiming for at least a Masters total, and maybe Elite if I'm feeling really, really good. If I get my bench, I'll also finally have a 300lb bench. Woo hoo.

The radiation from falling asleep in front of your computer probably gave you superhuman strength. Good luck in the meet!!!
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind that you have to pick KG weights, not lbs. That put me in a tricky position for some of my goals, since I chose them all in lbs. You might want to look the kg weights up before you go.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys. Yeah, I'm aware of the kg thing, but since we can take 2.5kg (~5lb) jumps, I'm fairly comfortable with attempting weights +-2.5lbs of my goals. I'll probably stick with whichever kg approximation gets me closest to the above numbers (200, 140, 280, say),
